Carswell Sworn In at Board of Governors
Cameron Carswell, Association President, was sworn in as a member of the UNC Board of Governors today. The President becomes a non-voting member of the Board by virtue of his or her office.
Ms. Carswell, a rising junior at Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C., was elected President in April by representitives of the seventeen UNC-system schools. Also elected was Alecia Page, a rising senior at Western Carolina University, who will serve as Senior Vice President.
